Pain as a Transformational Guide
Over time, however, this protective mechanism of disowning and projecting becomes less and less effective. What often results is a deeper heartfelt pain which can no longer be ignored. This pain can, in turn, become our guide, our map back to our original nature! The conscious transformation of this pain can lead us to a life more fully lived, in greater harmony with others, with less fear and more joy. This transformational process becomes the healing journey leading us to a greater sense of wholeness, to a gradual integration of all aspects of our being: body, mind, heart, Soul and Spirit.
